New Application
Foreign nationals who wish to stay in Korea for more than 90 days from the date of entry must complete alien registration within 90 days of arrival.
A fine may be imposed if alien registration is not completed within 90 days of entry.
Required Documents for Alien Registration
- Integrated Application Form (Download)
- Copy of Passport
- Copy of Visa
- One Passport Photo (White background, 3.5cm × 4.5cm, taken within the last 6 months)
- Certificate of Residence
- Certificate of Enrollment for the Current Semester (English version) (Issued at the Student Service Center)
- Application Fee: KRW 30,000
※ Dormitory residents: Issued at the dormitory office on the 1st floor of the International Residence Hall
※ Off-campus residents: Copy of housing contract - If the contract holder is not the student, submit both:
- Copy of the housing contract
- Confirmation of Residence/Accommodation provided by the contract holder
Group Application for Alien Registration
The International Affairs Team conducts group applications for alien registration cards for newly admitted students and exchange students who need alien registration cards.
Procedure
Step 1
When the group application notice is posted on the website, prepare the required documents above and submit them to the International Affairs Team (Global Center Room 700).
Step 2
On the scheduled date announced later, students will visit the Immigration Office together as a group to register fingerprints. Transportation will be provided by chartered bus, so lateness or absence is not allowed.
Step 3
Approximately 2–4 weeks later, students may visit the International Affairs Team (Global Center Room 700) in person to receive their Alien Registration Card.

Reissuance
If you lose your Alien Registration Card, you must apply for reissuance at the relevant Immigration Office within 14 days from the date of loss.
A fine may be imposed if changes are not reported within 14 days.
